I really need Armor to call me back! If you see this please call me, I have been trying to get a hold of you for several weeks.I bought a home with an HVAC system that was still under warranty. Soon after moving in, I had a problem and contacted Armor. They initially came out under warranty, but when they saw condensation in the vents, they did not offer any further service.Over the next three weeks, I called six times and left multiple messages. I did not receive a return call or a resolution to my issues.

August 2025 main unit stopped working at 10pm. Called 8am left detailed voicemail message as to problem. Got a text setting up apt that day. Drained water, added some refrigerant. Love that they squeeze me in when I call. Tech was very professional and gave me some tips, like changing filters more often 😵‍💫January 2025 apt. Frozen excess water pipe. Tech was right on time and very pleasant. Anyone who lets me follow them around, explains everything and lets me help is excellent in my book. The heat tape wasn’t plugged in but didn’t seem to work anymore after it was electrified so there you go. He bailed out the excess water and we were all goodWe have used Armor three times and each time an appointment has been immediately set, the tech was on time, professional and the problems resolved. Also the tech explained what was being done, educating us in the process.February 2021 during the storm this month one of our heaters shut down. Armour came out and it turns out there are outlets on the heaters that need to be plugged in to keep pipe from freezing, who knew. We had no such thing in New Mexico. We were just charged a service call and will definitely sign up for the annual maintenance plan this spring.

Armor Heating & Air was so helpful!!! I called 5 local companies to describe what was going on with our AC. The other companies said they would have to send a tech out to diagnose what was wrong based off of my description.Armor was the only one able to right away tell me what was going on over the phone. They explained things clearly and treated me as an equal. Really appreciate their hard work, their skill, and their kindness both over the phone and in person!

I scheduled an appt with the nice young lady over the phone for a maintenance contract pricing. She put me down for 1:30. I waited until 3:10 and cancelled. I called once and she said oh yeah he’s in Fayetteville, called again and she said yeah he’s still in Fayetteville. Don’t schedule appointments you can’t keep.

Update 1: We would have moved forward with the service plan but we have not been able to get a call back so far since we left the initial review a couple of weeks ago. We have spoke with personnel and left messages for a return call with no response. It’s unfortunate because we were very comfortable with the plan. They have great reviews so, hopefully, our case is an exception.Original review after estimate: John gave us the most clear and thorough explanation of our issues. We understood exactly what he was going to do and why it would help. John didn’t try to upsell us. In fact, he told us to wait on certain things we thought we were going to have to purchase. He wanted to see if a simple fix could help our issues first. This was so different than other experiences where we had been told we would need anything from parts that couldn’t be found to a 25k system. John earned our trust and business through patience, explanations, and not rushing to expensive options. We would highly recommend.

Armor Heat & Air is a very good company. Bryant came out at 10pm in this July heat wave and fixed my AC when it just suddenly stopped. That’s tops in anyone’s book.

John Howerton & the whole Armor Heating & Air team are amazing.I live an hour and a half away ( because I won't use anyone else) and they got me taken care of in less than 24 hours in 95 degree heat. Their prices are amazing for the service they provide.

Never game me a time to be ther until imstaller was less than hour away i gave notice i would except an appt days in advance kept asking for a wimdow some kind of time had dr appts had to go you get billed if you cancelxthats what heat and air will do billl for them not telling tou when yout appt will be or sometime in that part of the day made appt went to bed iil get you scheduled all i ever got till next day your installer will be there 30min ok ill becthere when my appts which have a time i need to be there my time is money to folks thats what happens sorry u missed my business

I have 11 rentals. For the past 2 years, I used another HVAC company. Their name is spelled almost like a famous French mathematician. During the past year, they installed 3 AC units. Last week, a brand new AC went down. I needed warranty work done and fast, the days are getting hotter. My go to HVAC company quoted me an extremely high price and weeks to fix it. They were price gouging me and weeks to get the job done ! Not for me. Even though, I was told they have 100's of HVAC techs, they could not make time for me. So, I called 3 local HVAC company's and interviewed them. I choose Armor Heating and Air. 1) Their price to fix an AC unit under warranty was reasonable. 2) John said he could get the unit fixed within 1 week depending on parts. John went up and beyond the call of duty. One of the parts did not come in, so he got me a brand new compressor instead of changing out a part. His co-workers came on time, got the job done, with no fuss. And, they were really nice guys. My tenants are happy and that makes me happy. Armor is now my go to HVAC company to fix my rentals and personal properties.

The technician, Jose, is fantastic!! We found an issue with our AC and Armor was able to send someone out the same day. Originally, we were told the afternoon, but Jose let us know he could be there in the morning (which on a summer June day, was music to my ears).
